Maui Directory
Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands and has, similarly to the other islands, formed out of volcanoes. The natural beauty of the land has made tourism one of the islands biggest industries.
Many activities in Maui are centered around the Pacific Ocean that surrounds. The ocean is filled with the most beautiful reefs as well as a wide variety of tropical fish and turtles. As well as scuba diving and snorkelling, a visitor can enjoy activities on the water such as surfing, windsurfing and tourist cruises.
If an adventure is what you’re after, don’t forget that most of Maui consists of the most amazing waterfalls and tropical rainforests, accessible only by helicopter. Another popular tourist attraction is the Haleakala National Park, which records visitors into the millions every year. The park consists of dormant volcanoes that take a half-day to hike and offer awe-inspiring views that you won’t forget.
